Kalla Kannan......kallan means a thief....but with Lord Krishna we use the term in the most endearing way.....infact here Guruvayoorappan is always ref to as Kalla kannan

May we ask why you wrote Kalla for Kallan; also what is the meaning of Kannan?

When we say the two together, we say Kalla Kannan,instead of saying Kallan Kannan .
Kannan means one with lovely eyes...also supposed to be our (Malayali)version of Kanha...so here again, when we call out, its Kannaaaaaaaaaa
