I liked your site, and its content. However, when I try to take a print out of say Durga Shatanama, it does not come out in WYSIWYG format!!! The first page consists of just the english translation, then 2nd page has incomplete Sanskrit slokas, and then 3rd page has the remainder of the transaltion, the rest of the sanskrit slokas were missing!!
If you can put these in PDF format to be downloaded it would be awesome!!!
Namaste! Thanks for the interest in our website. We tried, here, to print using Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Small poems print in Mozilla/Firefox as well as IE.
However, IE is not smart enough to understand a long GIF image, while mozilla/firefox splits a GIF image content across multiple pages for printing. In other words, Mozilla makes a postscript for printing, while IE tries to render the postscript (with its super idiotic design).
Please, use firefox/mozilla for best experience with printing. We, as designers, expect more users to move towards firefox for the sake of simplicity of design and more focus on content. Right now we need to fill in 10s of hacks to make sure design looks OK on Internet-explorer.
Having a PDF is a good idea. We have that idea in our plans, but it will take time to execute that.
